How Cloudbeds prices
Cloudbeds' four tiers (Flex, One, Experience, Enterprise) are all quote-gated — no tier publishes a dollar figure. It does explicitly charge no added commission on bookings through its own booking engine and channel manager, the same 0%-commission principle behind Direct PMS's direct bookings.

The honest objection
"Cloudbeds already gets us commission-free direct bookings — what's the gap?"
The commission-free booking engine is genuinely good, and we do the same thing. The gap is everything around a room once it's rented out longer than a stay: leasing a room to a long-term tenant, selling the property, or running the maintenance and staff attendance behind housekeeping — none of that lives in a hotel PMS built around nightly stays.

Room types, rate plans and upcoming bookings come across from Cloudbeds in the same team-assisted pass as everything else — nothing you've already sold gets lost switching over.
What you get that Cloudbeds doesn't cover
Direct PMS runs every business line on one registry — you only subscribe to the modules you use.
Pools are your room types: sell 'Deluxe Double', assign room 204 at the desk. Rate plans carry meal plans and extra-guest pricing; direct bookings are commission-free.
Checkout auto-creates the turnover work order. Housekeeping rosters, attendance and consumable stock (soap below reorder level shows up red) live beside the bookings.
Room refurbishments, quoted per room and invoiced on confirmation.
Monthly long-stay rooms on the same calendar.
If the property itself trades, the pipeline is there.
